LIMP BIZKIT's FRED DURST: WES BORLAND Acted 'Like A Moron' By Leaving The Band

September 7, 2003

LIMP BIZKIT frontman Fred Durst re-ignited his war of words with two former partners at last night's (September 6) London show, according to Dotmusic.com.

During a pre-show interview, Durst attacked departed axeman Wes Borland and said the guitarist had acted "like a fucking moron" by leaving the band.

Then it was the turn of alleged ex-lover Britney Spears to feel the wrath of Durst with the frontman dedicating "Break Stuff" — an infamous BIZKIT anthem with the apt lyrics: "It's all about the he said, she said bullshit — to the pop star.

"How many people out there have had one of those f**ked up days?" enquired Durst over the track's opening chords.

"I can remember quite a few fucked up days just recently and I think I spent those days with that fucking bitch Britney Spears."

Durst's comments come less than a month after he told the world he'd spoken to Spears and hinted they'd agreed not to comment on the subject any further in public.

LIMP BIZKIT's set included three new tracks and a host of old favorites, including the unexpected sight of Fred Durst performing the track "Nevermind" solo.
